Operations & Post Fixture
Our Ship Operations team continuously works to optimize ships’ operations – freight and demurrage, transshipments, tank cleaning and port calls, stowage, cargo handling, fleet performance, bunkering etc.
Day-to-day operations are carried out by a team of highly professional personnel who are closely following all aspects of vessels’ operations to ensure that the vessels under management fulfill the obligations in a safe and efficient manner.
A post fixture officer follows up on the terms of a contract after a deal has been confirmed between ship owners and charterers. The job roles include:
- Ensuring that fixtures are concluded according to proper interpretation of charter party clauses and shipping terms/practices
- Handling dispute and demurrage calculations and claims
- Issuing hire/freight invoices to charterers
- Following up to ensure timely payment of receivables
- Overseeing the processing of brokering commissions to brokers
- Voyage calculations
- RECAP document management
- Off hire calculations and claims
- Freight calculations
- Checking of Disbursement accounts
- Financial accounting etc.
Financial Management
Successful ship management depends on many elements but foremost on financial control.
We offer a range of financial management services including, but not limited to:
- Maintaining records of revenues and expenses and data for settlement of accounts between parties
- Annual budgeting and cost control
- Financial and management reports in the form requested by the Owner
- Monitoring the compliance with financing terms and conditions

Technical Management
EQUUS MARE SHIPPING & TRADING CO. PTE. LTD. is providing full technical services. Our team look after the proper maintenance, repairs, surveys and supply of spares provisions of each vessel. Superintendents monitor the performance and condition of the vessels by both routine reports and frequent onboard visits and inspections. Vessels undergo scheduled dry-dockings, which are meticulously planned and with work lists developed from dry-dock after consulting the vessels' crew, bearing in mind suggestions for improvement and upgrades.
We provide first class technical and marine management services for dry bulk vessels and tankers.
Our technical management services include, but are not limited to:
